In reply to the discussion: How is everyone out there making it financially? [View all]usedtobedemgurl
(2,076 posts)82. I have been doing it for nearly 40 years.
It started out with ads in newspapers. They were all legit back then. Just beware of any company that asks you for money, or say they will give you a check to cash and you need to send the money back to them. There are a ton of legit ones out there. I would stat by downloading the Presto app. They represent several companies. I have not found one, with them, that is not legit. Also, try the Gigspot app and the Isecretshop app. All represent numerous companies. You have to like to write! Best of luck. If you need help, reach out. You will be an independent contractor, but they will need your info.

I'm in FL too. I found an independent insurance agent that sells liability only policies. Good luck 🤞

My credit cards were both up to the limit. I had to take money out of my now very meager retirement account.

We rarely go out to dinner anymore - just too expensive and not all that good.

No problem - If you make Dal or Dahl, be prepared to eat it for several nights in a row (makes a lot of food).
