better check the volumes of international flights at these major airports and explain how it would be possible to even keep the 3 'big' US airlines in business.

A quick Google says this:
In 2024, the U.S. saw 72.39 million international visitor arrivals, a 9.1% increase over 2023. Outbound travel by U.S. citizens hit a record 107.7 million.
Miami handled 25 million and Houston a mere 12.5 million and Dallas just 6.2 million.
