I didn't come up with the CRAP acronym or the description of AI slop art as "Computer Rendered Artificial Pictures." That's something the artist who wrote this op-ed referred to, but she doesn't say where she heard it first, or if she knows who might've used the term first.

The term has been around for over a year. Just googled it. See these posts on Threads from April of last year.
