Because Trump has put the most incompetent people in America in charge of government. Just today, he announced his intention to hire someone with no intelligence experience to lead the Intelligence agencies of this country. He would be the new DNI, taking over from Tulsi Gabbard, who herself was no beacon of competence.
Everyone of them is an ass-kissing sycophant. That, in itself, should be a disqualifier. But they have no shame. It is reported that Trump has all of them wearing new Florsheim shoes, some of them a couple of sizes too big. They did not need the big shoes to look like clowns.
Hopefully, we will not have an earthquake or a monster hurricane. If we do, do not expect much help, if any, from your government. We just don't have the money.
