For me, it was meeting a few of my fellow DUers in lobbying efforts in DC.
Perhaps the highlight was being in the in the Hart Senate office building when the news that Barbara Boxer had agreed to join Stephanie Tubbs Jones in an objection to the Ohio electors as having been appointed pursuant to an election that systematically disenfranchised countless voters.
Even staffers in Conyers office responsible for the What Went Wrong in Ohio report said we would never get a Senator.
Well, we did. And in so doing, challenged the "can't win, won't fight" rationalization for inaction that permeated the Democratic Party.
