I’d suspect Iowa’s Sen. Chuck Grassley, who will be 93 in September. But maybe he should hold on until Governor Rob Sand can pick his replacement—if Iowa law allows that. I should ask, since it does not appear to be a good summer for the longevity of aging Republican Senators.
