7. I have mixed feelings about the whole thing.

If it's banned, there will be something similar that will emerge or rise to the top to fill the void (or maybe the Chinese will give up ownership). It's a shame that newspapers are not an option for those who prefer TickTock. I weep for the future. This is why I roll my eyes whenever anyone insists that it's time for THIS generation to take the political wheel and that all the old-folks should be voted out. I'm not sure they're ready if things like TickTock, Meta, etc are their primary sources of knowledge and understanding of what's going on in the world.
