Francis was arguably the most liberal pope (by Roman Catholic standards) ever to hold the position. Libbing-up the world's Roman Catholics in opposition to the Trump agenda was a very real possibility.
I'm not saying that a chemical agent was discretely delivered to a compromised pope by a foreign official in the room. But, I wonder what a detailed toxicology report on Francis would show?
Again, I'm not suggesting this happened. But, is it a possibility? If a lib VP met a conservative pope in person, and that pope died within 24-hours, you just know that right-wing blogosphere would be lit up like a Christmas tree.
