(201 posts)...because all of the criminals were saying bad things about him? Probably not--because doing something on principle means you can take the attacks and the criticism. This really only demonstrates how much principle was behind his moves all along--as all of us at DU knew anyway.
It is far less about extracting everything he could from this relationship and then running back to the private sector to sit on his ever-growing mountain of money; and more about running into a situation thinking he knew a lot more than he did and screwing the whole thing up while damaging his own business brands in the process.
There was far more for Elon to gain from this relationship even beyond the supposed principles he had to destroy Democrats and liberals in government, but he proved even to F-47 that he was an amateurish imbecile with a god complex and a bunch of bad ideas--and breaking through to that guy takes a lot of effort.
