Trump has been told by various financial advisers and high ranking economic professionals to back off and back down, all quietly behind closed doors. The tremendous difficulty he has put the world's economy in has led to those people finally speaking up and warning him that this has to stop, and stop now. Musk announcing, he is crawling back to Tesla, Trump toning down the tariff talk on China, backing off threats to Powell, all is because he has been warned by his own insiders. Watch for little BS stories in the next while explaining his "victories" are now allowing him to back off on tariffs to certain counties. Small off-ramps to save face.
