It was two partners from my law firm who started this group after so many partners in BigLaw got cold feet about signing the name of their firms to the Perkins amicus brief! That wasn't an acceptable answer to them, so they went outside the established system and are now taking action in their own names.

I'm not privy to the group's plans because you have to be a partner in the AmLaw200 to join, but I have already told these two founders that if I can do anything to support the effort, I'm all in.
