The problem is not that he did stupid things in the past.

He portrayed measles vaccination – long proven safe – as a personal choice.

He promotes spurious treatments.

He downplays the seriousness of contagious disease. That is what his cocaine/toilet remark is about, not his recovery from addiction, nor his amazing super wonderful immune system.
