1. Our tax laws relating to nonprofit organizations that are actually political groups need to be overhauled.

Legitimate organizations that actually help people are being shortchanged while those that claim to be doing so have its purpose to expand a political agenda, mostly the Republican agenda. They need to be taxed.

The article reports that members of Coalition Life who harass women to prevent them from having abortions send them for care to the Missouri organization. These centers are not staffed with medically trained doctors and nurses! They see women throughout their pregnancies, which means the women are unlikely to be seeing real medical professionals who can identify complications that threaten the life of the woman and the baby. I doubt the state follows up to see how many of the “patients” in these fake medical centers die or have serious issues when they get to the delivery stage. And of course they’re on their own after the child is born.
