4. Private health insurance costs...payments to providers + op cost.... was well north of a TRILLION dollars in 2022.

$1.3 trillion in 2022 per the internet. With a little arithmetic, using your admin cost %'s, if we were all on a Medicare type plan, that would save $200 BILLION per year. Add insurance industry profit and the cost of providers having to deal with all these parasites, and that figure is much higher. That's a hell of a lot of money we're having to shoulder so Brian Thompson can make $10M+ per year. Well....he use to anyway.
