cocker spaniel whom he adored. Handy got sick and the vet discovered Handy had licked up some mouse pee in a lower kitchen cabinet. Probably in New Orleans at the time, he'd seen a lot of it. That particular disease was fatal. Remember the native Americans in some SW state who died from something connected to mice?
