14. The hospital may not be able to release her if she's confused

This happened to my FIL. He fell, was down for several days and the paramedics took him to the hospital. After he was stable they said they couldn’t release him to an unsafe home (no help) so my husband had to find a nursing home for home. I understand your situation with a stubborn parent. Both my husband and I had to deal with it. You just want to pull your hair out. I swear my Mom took years off my life. Same with my husband’s Dad. Best of luck. I know you’re doing your best.
