49. This thread is pushing hard on my senility. I must have played in 5 or 10 bands as a kid, and can't, for the life...

...me, remember the names of any of them.

Most of the playing I did in a semiprofessional setting in clubs was solo acoustic work.

For some reason, even though at one point it was a very important part of my life, I haven't picked up a guitar in years, probably because I'm afraid to recognize how much I've lost in skill and how many songs (and tunings) I've forgotten. I last played in public about ten years ago.
