I bought a new car yesterday. I thought I would try a hybrid [View all]

this time. I bought a Honda CRV Sport L. I have only put about 80 miles on it so far. My first impression
it is quieter, rides better and has more power than my gas only 2020. The transition from electric only to
gas is absolutely seamless. They have a neat screen that shows where you are getting your power.
On down hills the front drive wheels send power to the battery and it also holds the car back on hills, don't
have to ride the brakes. It calculates each drive mileage, I just made an 8 mile trip from town to home
and showed 39.2 MPG. That is hilly crooked road about 40% down hill and 40% uphill with the other 20% more
level. Hopefully it does as rated, 40 city, 34 highway and 37 combined. My gas only CRV got about 29 MPG combined.
