Need some help from our English DU'ers, if possible. Years ago (maybe [View all]

ten or 11 or so), I was reading about a community somewhere outside London, fairly small, I would guess, where the residents each grew different things, and it was all pretty much free for the picking, even at their post office. Maps where all the different fruits, vegetables, herbs, etc. were grown were readily available. Since it fit in beautifully with what a friend and I were trying to start in our community, I was fascinated.

Alas, I cannot remember the name of ths community, only that it was &quot something) - on- Thames". If anybody knows of this community, I would be most grateful. I have googled in every way I could think of, nothing even came close. I believe that Seattle did something similiar a year or two later. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
