On me as soon as they saw me and crawl up on my shoulder. Then I also had those that had no interest in being cuddled and would meow violently if I hugged them. It's their personality. Just the way they are. Just keep trying especially belly rubs and maybe one of them will at least acquiesce and just let you have your way and begin to like it.

Also cats love being scratched under chin and shoulder massages.
