7. Take Me Home, Country Roads is played in pubs all over Ireland, I've been lucky to have heard it in person

Yesterday

and sung along, of course, not just in tourist areas like Temple Bar but in local pubs as well. There's a connection between Ireland and Appalachia, so many Irish and Scots settlers who brought their music with them.
