Who am I?

11. I was born March 14,1948 on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

As a toddler, I moved with my family to Long Beach, NY, on Long Island.
After graduating from Long Beach High School in 1965, I attended Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia on a baseball scholarship, but I never played baseball at Marshall because the program was suspended during my first year.
I did not return to Marshall as a sophomore and instead studied acting at HB Studio in New York.
I attended Nassau Community College and later transferred to New York University, where I was a film & television directing major.
One of my instructors was Martin Scorsese, and Oliver Stone & Christopher Guest were among my classmates.
I spent four years in a comedy improv group & later became a solo act & performed regularly at "The Improv and "Catch a Rising Star."
In 1976, I appeared on "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson" and on an episode of "All in the Family."
My earliest role was in a comedy television series from 1977 to 1981.
After hosting "Saturday Night Live" twice, I joined the regular cast for the 1984-85 season.
My first film role was in a 1978 movie co-written & directed by Joan Rivers.
Since then, I've been in more than 35 movies.
