My wife and I have strated binge watching "The Wire" on Amazon Prime [View all]

We are both intrigued by the character "Omar". Was doing some reading a little while ago about the character and here is what Presdient Obama said about him:

"In January 2008 then-presidential candidate Barack Obama told the Las Vegas Sun that Omar was his favorite character on The Wire (which, in turn, is his favorite television show), adding, "That's not an endorsement. He's not my favorite person, but he's a fascinating character.""

We find the show kind of hard to follow as there are so many characters and sub-story lines within the main story but we are enjoying it and I highly recommend it.
