This was the bumbling nitwit racist underground organization that had changed its name when it infiltrated Fernwood to attract more decent (White) Americans like the Hartmans, who were unaware of their true intent--they just thought it was a social group where they could party while wearing pink muumuus.

Not only was this soap opera satire ahead of its time but it was pretty damned prescient given what we see today, speaking of infiltration.
