However, I did find 3 great shows on NF this year.

I recommend Dear White People if you have Netflix. Brand New Cherry Flavor and Dear White People are two shows that really impressed me this year. DWP is straight up great satire.

I have to recommend BNCF if for no other reason, just for being so damn categorisation defyingly weird. I am not even sure what it qualifies as-horror comedy maybe? Always a fun genre.


And Catherine Keener has a ball playing..well you have to watch it. I don’t want to spoil it for you.

DWP is the sort of rare show where you feel like you would like knowing the writer (Justin Simien). The annoying kid from Catcher in the Rye was on to something..it is certainly one of the most politically relevant shows I have seen recently. All the main actors are well cast…and the soundtrack is great. I have been listening to Serotonin by Fabriq and Watch this by Jaden Smith a repeat since I watched it.

Finally Carol and the End of the World is also really good. Again it is a very different take on that genre.
