Arizona GOP censures Gov. Ducey, Jeff Flake, and Cindy McCain [View all]

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- Arizona Governor Doug Ducey, former Senator Jeff Flake, and Cindy McCain have all been censured by the Republican party during the party's annual GOP meeting on Saturday.

Gov. Ducey's Political Director released the following statement following the censorship from his party:

"These resolutions are of no consequence whatsoever, and the people behind them have lost whatever little moral authority they may have once had."

Former Arizona Senator Jeff Flake tweeted "good company," with a photo of himself, McCain, and Gov. Ducey at Joe Biden's presidential inauguration earlier this week.

Cindy McCain also responded to the censorship on twitter with the following message:

'It is a high honor to be included in a group of Arizonans who have served our state and our nation so well...and who, like my late husband John, have been censured by the AZGOP. I’ll wear this as a badge of honor.'
