3. Homeless people

I volunteer at a homeless shelter. Some of the people there work, but not necessarily full time and certainly not at a living wage. Others manage to make a few bucks under the table.

Others are just unable to work. Mental health issues. Physical disabilities (which may be exempt?). Single mothers. Addiction. No local, reliable transportation. Criminal records.

Reducing benefits like this is just cruel. There's no other word for it. People will die because of this.
