9. Many of our polling places ran out of ballots!

We use paper ballots. There were not enough ballots, R or D, and many people were told to try coming back after 6 pm. There is a hotly contested State's Attorney race on the Republican side, and people are ticked. The County Clerk printed ballots for a 27% turnout, and is taking a very "Oh well" attitude. He has not explained why the delay in printing new ballots and getting them to the polls.

This County Clerk is a Republican, and he is already taking a beating from his own side. I hope this mobilizes us to put a candidate on the ballot next time.
