You didn't get applause or praise because you lied and covered for a dishonest, immoral, uncaring asshole. And what does being the mother of three preschoolers have to with anything? It doesn't make a person a more effective legislator. Oh, I forgot- legislation is the last thing the Repugs are concerned about these days.
