there are approximately 3.6 million registered voters in Kentucky:

1,874,802 (52.7 percent) are female, 1,683,625 (47.3 percent) are male
1,618,061 (45.4 percent) are registered with the Democratic Party, 1,599,306 (44.9 percent) are registered with the Republican Party
An additional 342,986 (9.6 percent) are registered as “other” including Independent, Green Party, Constitution Party, etc.
