3. Chesterfield, VA--Cantor's district until he got thrown out--EXTREMELY BUSY

when I was there at 10:30, and the Dem manning the outside booth said it had been crazy all day.

And, to my surprise, Chesterfield County (for the first time) is requiring a photo ID. I didn't know they'd passed that little Repub law here. No problem for me, but who knows about others.

Another anomaly -- one (of 2) of the registrar's computers was down, so the line moved half as fast. It didn't look like it was discouraging any voters.

What do I think this means? This is a heavily -- I repeat, heavily -- Republican district and area, so it means the Pubs REALLY got the vote out to vote in their idiot, Dave Brat, to replace Eric Cantor. Brat is a complete moron who wouldn't even debate Trammel because he trips over his own feet. He holds the economics chair (funded by the Kochs) at the same university Trammel works at, but when he gave his first news conference to announce he was running in the Pub primary, he was asked what he felt about raising the minimum wage, and he said he didn't know, he'd have to research it. This, from the economics chair of a university. OOOOOOKAY.

Does it mean all the Dems are out voting? I sure hope so, but our numbers are small here, so I doubt it means that Trammel will win. It sure will be interesting to see how close he comes, though.
