5. Well 14 year olds are certainly further from 65 than 18 year olds. Any 14 y.o., not just this one.

They don't have to work any more than anyone else to qualify for social security. I'm pretty sure the minimum work requirement is 10 years (40 credits). It's the same for this young man as anyone else.

Also, you can start drawing benefits at 62.
