Watching Chris Hayes right now discussing this strange battle between Cochran and McDaniel. Is there a Democrat running on the other side of the ticket or are Mississippians limited to these two jokers? Does the Democratic Party candidate have even a snowball's chance in Hades of success? I'm kind of confused about this because of the majority minority nature of the state. Can't that be used to break the hold of the Rs by perhaps a write in candidate? Are write-in candidates even allowed?
