1. Granite State college was and in is considered a place for stoners and underachievers.

I remember hearing this over and over when I was considering a college in state. So good, maybe their image will change, after the merger.

I keep hearing people say, well "you knew should have know what kind of debt you were getting into before you signed on the dotted line." True. But, your monthly payment is never discussed. And if you're pursuing a B of S, your whole focus is getting that certificate of completion. I have 4 classes left for my certificate, but my funding ran out. And at 900 dollars per class (and you are required to take a minimum of two per semester), that's hard to swing on a job that pays less than 15 p/h.

~ Just thought this part of the education experience should be part of the narrative.
