The previous sheriff is serving 10 yrs in prison for beating a motorist nearly to death in a road rage incident.

Lujan being decertified means he can’t drive a police car, carry a gun, or make arrests. He can, however, continue as sheriff unless he’s convicted.

Rio Arriba county deserves better.
