My neighbor called me today and said there is a Covid relief program available through the Community Action Program. I had a bad connection and I'm supposed to call her back. She said she heard of it from a friend, but her ins. agent also knew about it. You have to make an appointment and bring income information and information about your utility bills and houses ins. I think she said that if you qualify, the program will pay utility bills and house ins for 6 months, and she might have said house payments. I really need to call her

Right now, information about the program is word of mouth. So I am passing it along, in case it is state wide If anyone knows about this program, please comment.

I will update my post after I talk to her. At this time, I don't know if it is given out like the stimulus checks were, or it it'll be needs based. My neighbor is on a fixed income, but it it more generous than my fixed income.
