I just have memories of going into a "caged" store with my parents and there was always a "hush" in there, like it was a library, and to this day, I am traumatized going in one.

(and I went to college in MA where they had "package stores" and we made "packie runs" )

When they changed the law here to allow wine and beer in supermarkets and I first saw such in a supermarket not far from me, I was like this -
