Pa. boy showing gun to girlfriend accidentally shot her in the face, killing her

A 16-year-old boy, identified as Emeka Moye-King, who said he gave his Glock-30 to his teen girlfriend to look at is now accused of shooting her fatally in the face.

The girl, Aliah Johnson, 17, was shot dead Saturday night as the pair were in the boy’s upstairs bedroom at his familiy’s home in the Point Breeze neighborhood of Pittsburgh, as KDKA-TV reports.

The boy now face charges of criminal homicide and possession of a firearm by a minor in the case. But he says it was an accident.

According to KDKA, the two were upstairs watching TV when Moye-King says he gave Johnson his Glock-30 handgun to look at before leaving the room to use the bathroom. When he came back, he says he took the gun from her with his finger on the trigger and put it on the dresser. That’s when it went off, fatally shooting Johnson, the boy told police.
