While this district did have a +28-point Republican advantage after it was gerrymandered in 2021, you have to know that it is also a coastal district. Flood-prone neighborhoods are depopulating due to climate change. This year, things could look a lot different in coastal areas because when they lose population, they also lose voters.


Yeppers. We left after Ike. Lots of our former neighbors did, too.

This district runs from Freeport to Orange. Very coastal and devastated by Ike, Harvey and Beryl.

It was Ron Paul’s district.
