Or even for the long term, the damned professors better do the jobs they’re getting paid to do. My son has 2 classes that have essentially gone to “teach yourself” with one 20-25 min zoom discussion session a week. The profs dumped their power points on the kids and said read them and read the book, then we’ll talk about it. So they’ve dropped more than 2.5 classes of lecture a week.

Ticks me off. Our dept is working online 40 hrs a week, holding our regular meetings - all of our regular duties. I can see adjusting if you’re something like a lab or hand-on, but one is art history and the other is the history of the Roman Empire.
