2. I don't think it's our fault

We are one of the most vaccinated states (I think THE most vaccinated, actually). And we are very mask compliant.

One hypothesis is that we did so well early on - we are more susceptible to the virus now (we have very little immunity from infection). Another guess is that we were so early in our vaccinations (there was a bit of a lag after the vaccination's protective features....'wore off').

And......it's winter. And winter is inside.......

I don't know. I do everything I can to avoid infection. But if it happened now - it might be (MIGHT BE) for the best. I'm boosted. I'm not that old. I'm healthy. My weight is okay (so no risk factors from that). And I'm a woman. Again, not tempting fate - just thinking........
