you mentioned. I would love to see some car company survive and build in Canada. They could stick their finger in the eye of the colour lobby other carmakers use and make a few cars in many colours for Canadians. I don't think it is feasible to start a Canadian company as it could not grow outside of Canada as there is too much competition. The auto pact worked. It is such a shame to see it, and the trade deals that followed, go, at least for our auto-workers.
