the interior of B.C. is usually hot and dry. Great fruit growing country, but places like Lillooet, Osoyoos, Kelowna and Kamloops get tinder dry during many summers.

That said, things are pretty bad right now. Fortunately, the rest of the country is having a below-average fire season so there are lots of firefighters available to assist in B.C.
