4. Regarding the US Senate seats held by Brown(OH), Warren(MA) and Sanders(VT).

The Governor from those States picks the interim replacement who then decides whether or not to run in the special election.
The special election for the OH US Senate seat(Brown-D) is in 2022, same time as Portman-R US Senate seat and other statewide elections in OH.
The special election for the MA/VT US Senate seats(Warren-D/Sanders are in 2021.
