Last year I bought the Kobalt 80-volt cordless mower, chainsaw, blower and String Trimmer and one day I had an idea... extra battery+ charger.

One day I found this nice Bosch router case in the trash and brought it home, no idea what to do with it. I saw it in the corner of my closet and thinking, hmmm, I know now!

After some research, i found a way to convert 80 VDC to 12 VDC to 110 VAC safely. (DC 48V Step Down to DC 12V 30A 360W Regulator Voltage Reducer Power Converter) Yup thet should work. Then I tapped into the (+)(-) wires in the Kobalt charger tray.

Once tested I cut up the case and got it all put together.
