RI(Reed-D)- Lincoln Chaffee-R lost re-election on 11/2006. Could Chaffee have stayed in office if he switched parties. Became a Democrat before 1/2006.
OR(Wyden-D)- Gordon Smith-R lost re-election on 11/2008.
OK(Inhofe-R)- Tom Coburn-R left office during the 2014 elections.
NY(Schumer-D)- Hillary Clinton-D become a cabinet Secretary on 1/2009.
