18. I'm back.

We lost power for eight days, and Internet/cable access returned a day later.

A tree fell and ripped off one an eave, but we were fairly lucky compared to devastation in other parts of the states.

There was no gas. People were waiting in lines for hours, driving more than 30 miles to get gas. I stayed put.

After eight long cold days, I'm glad to be warm and catching up with the news.
