The bright sun, the New England summer scene. I wonder whether it was early in the visit since JK is clearly not in vacation clothes. I keep up with the State Department photos that show the hard, grinding travel and negotiation and thoughtful diplomacy our SoS puts in most all year and I've seen the rotten BoHe chasing him whenever he has a few days off. It's so GOOD to see him absolutely relaxed for a change. He has more than earned it.

I love that it was on your family dog's birthday, KarenVT!

Also, I had no idea Ben the Dog was going to get so enormous. He's very much his master's match!

Hope everyone is enjoying their end of summer weekend!
