7. I've got volunteers

different species. A lot of sweet gums, but also apple and cherry trees, thanks to feeding the critters fruit I didn't eat. A few years ago, we picked up a bunch of acorns at the fairgrounds and brought them home for the squirrels in our yard. Now, there is a nice sturdy oak growing in one of the beds out front. The more the merrier!
