Through neither the interviewer nor Hanna Shelest were willing to flat out say that the U.S. has abandoned them, they did question whether that might be the case and what could happen if it were.

From my perspective, Ukraine has lost us as an ally and we are indeed looking to "end the war" by giving Russia parts of Ukraine. This would tie in with us leaving NATO. I don't think anyone believes that Trump would honor Article 5.
